THE STUDY & APPLICATION OF DERMAPLANING
This course is designed to teach students everything they need to know about dermaplaning, a technique that involves using a scalpel to remove dead skin cells and facial hair. The treatment provides a range of benefits, including improved product absorption, makeup application, and the stimulation of collagen and elastin production. Dermaplaning can also be used to shape the hairline, brows, and sideburns for a more contoured face. This treatment can be performed alone or in conjunction with other treatments, such as skin peels or microdermabrasion.
With minimal downtime, dermaplaning can be performed in under 30 minutes, once a month. Upon completion of this course, students will have the knowledge and skills to confidently perform and tailor dermaplaning treatments to individual clients with a range of skin types, safely and effectively.
